Nolan Wells Photography Chicago

Nolan and his twin brother Ryan were named after the great Texas baseball pitcher, Nolan Ryan, mostly because their parents liked the names. As it turns out, Nolan is a pretty lousy baseball player but fortunately he has had better luck with photography.

After studying photojournalism at Ohio University, Nolan worked for several newspapers including the Detroit Free Press and the Copley Chicago Newspapers and is where he learned to appreciate both the quiet and spectacular moments of photography.

Currently Nolan works as a freelance photographer and lives in Chicago's' Humboldt Park neighborhood with his dog, Henry, who is not named after home run legend Henry Aaron or photojournalism god father Henri Cartier-Bresson.
